Greenville, SC, Citadel Club: Mike Kissenberth (Class of 1988) is going to be our speaker this coming Tuesday (9/9). Hopefully he will share some of his experiences at The Citadel, including his time as Captain of the football team, as well as his experiences after The Citadel, to include time in the Army, MUSC and starting up the Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas, as part of GHS. He is a great speaker and good guy to know – keeping in mind that we are all getting older – you will be needing his services sooner or later! Come out and meet him and try to get on his good side! Who: Dr. Mike Kissenberth, Class of 1988 When: Tue September 9th at 6pm Where: Fitzpatrick’s Irish Pub BIO: Dr. Kissenberth specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopy, and complex reconstruction of the shoulder, elbow and knee. He also has expertise in shoulder replacement surgery. He is a graduate of The Citadel, where he captained the football team, and then attended the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center and served his fellowship in Sports Medicine with Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas and the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia. He is the medical director for Sports Medicine at GHS Joel Fortenberry will be our speaker in October and is the current 1st Battalion TAC officer
