Greeting everyone, im fairly new to this hobby but I wanted to ask an intresting question. See this mold. This is just one example of the many I poured today. I was pouring about 20 molds today mixing using merlins magic and I noticed a very odd thing happen. See the darker bricks on right. They did not set right. Its about 8 hr after orignal pour and they are still damp and actually one split just as I took it out. The fail rate was right around 5% of all pours ( mainly twards end of each cup made, it appeared to be thicker. Not sure if thats an issue ) The others from same batch and same cup. They are perfect and drying nicely. Any pro tips for me to understand. I know there are many variables here but it also was humid outside where I was working and. Not sure if that played a part.
