Greetings All, It appears that all connection issues have been resolved and that we are running at one hundred percent once again. We are so glad to be connected once again through our online ministry to all of our online family and friends. To each of you, have yourself a wonderful and blessed weekend. Remember to thank God for all of your blessings and to be a blessing to others. Here is a repost of our last post. Enjoy. We know from Genesis, God gave the first “if-then or conditional statement” to man. We know God told man that if he ate of a particular tree, then he would surely die. There were no other details given during this encounter that indicated man knew or understood what God had said to him. Many have speculated, and those speculations have run the gamut of man’s imagination, but the question remains, Did man really know what God meant? Here is what we do know. Now the serpent was more subtle (cunning) than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods (God), knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant (a desirable thing) to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons (girding coverings) (Genesis 3:1-7). But how does this knowledge help us to find out why God place the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the garden? Blessings, KW Ministries
