Greetings All! The IHS Marching Band & Color Guard will be performing at Friday night’s varsity football game with special guests – the Natomas Middle School Music Program! It’s always fun to watch next year’s music program students perform at a high school football game!!! Mr. Hines has instructed the students to report in the Band Room by 5:15 pm on Friday and they will be wearing their band shirts. The Music Boosters are requesting the following donations for Friday Night: 1) Bottled Water - to keep those thirsty performers hydrated. You can drop off water donations in the Band Room beginning in the morning and up until you drop off your student. 2) Ice – for cooling down the water, particularly if the weather is still warm/hot 3) Cupcakes for our ever-famous Cupcake Booth - Selling cupcakes is still one of our most effective fund raisers and we raised over $200 during the last game and this goes straight back into the program to buy supplies and equipment. Both homemade and store-bought cupcakes are gladly accepted and your donation can be delivered directly to the Band Room beginning in the morning all day and up until you drop off your student. We plan to set up the Booth by 5 pm in order to start selling during the JV game. Please be sure to tape a note to your boxes, trays, etc with your name, number of cupcakes and the flavor(s). Also, please note, we are not able to sell store-bought baked goods during games as this would be in direct competition with the Snack Shack operated by the Athletic Boosters.
