Greetings Arising from the ashes of the American industrial rock band Stabbing Westward, who released three BIllboard Top 75 albums in the 1990s (two of which achieved gold status), THE DREAMING feature the same core songwriting duo of Christopher Hall (lead singer) and Walter Flakus (keyboards, programming). They have released two albums to date, ‘Etched In Blood’ (2008) and ‘Puppet’ (2011), the latter of which included the US Rock Chart hit ‘Every Trace’. ‘Rise Again’ is the brand new album by the band and came about through Chris Hall’s desire to deliver an album that featured more of the early Stabbing Westward sound that many fans had been requesting. Although that act is long dead and buried, its original founders are proud to return as THE DREAMING with Rise Again, replete with more of the intense and haunting music that made their name in the first place. thedreamingband/
