Greetings Barony! As the current A&S Champion, I hope to inspire more contestants for this years A&S Championship tournament, held at the Honor Feast honoring the amazing Master Alfric (Ralph), a truly gifted artisan himself. The competition will be the presentation of 2 items, of which one must be something useful (a bench, an item of clothing, a tool, a weapon, etc). Documentation is required for both entries. My goal during my tenure as Champion is to start conversations each month that will assist those artisans that may have a desire to enter but are unsure on what to do, how to be ready and how to present. I hope that these conversations will spark questions and the sharing of knowledge. To kick-off these monthly discussions, I present to you a very insightful article about writing documentation for the SCA, written by Domna Luitgard (Laura C. Minnick).
