Greetings, Below are upcoming events for this weekend: 1) One of our members will be playing in a Prince Cover Band TONIGHT, 10/24, @ 9PM at the Warnors Theatre at 1400 Fulton Street. Admission is FREE. 2) Our ally organization, The Pink Panthers Movement, will be holding another meet-n-greet social TOMORROW, 10/25, @ 6:30PM at 1055 N. Van Ness Suite D. For those who cant wait until our next visit to Mings to socialize, heres your chance to meet and greet with people. 3) Do not forget to join us for the 2013 AIDS Walk of Fresno, a fundraiser for the Living Room, THIS SATURDAY, 10/26, @ 9:30AM at Woodward Park (Mountain View Shelter). Walk is FREE but donations are encouraged. 4) Our lovely TDOR sponsoring organization, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Fresno, will be holding an informal Q & A session for anyone who would like to volunteer for their Lavender Convention next Spring. The Lavender Convention is an effort to bring together different LGBT+ churches together for a conversation about their progress and the future of LGBT+ inclusion in the church. This event will contain workshops, speakers forums, and the music from various denominations. All are welcome. For those interested in becoming volunteers for this, please attend the volunteer Q & A session THIS SATURDAY, 10/26, @ 7PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Fresno at 2672 E. Alluvial Ave. (between Willow and Chestnut). 5) Please attend our Car Wash Benefit to raise funds for the 2013 Transgender Day of Remembrance THIS SUNDAY, 10/27, from 11AM-3PM at the parking lot of the North Tower Circle at 2777 N. Maroa Ave. Fresno, CA 93704. Get your car washed for a good cause! Suggested donation amount: $5+ ~ Hope to see you there!!!
