Greetings Columbus Men/Women....I hope you all enjoyed your 3 day weekend. I dont know if you remember, but I am the new Admin that introduced myself just a couple of months ago. Some of you have asked what my handle is. I dont feel that a name is important, but the mission of the page is. Over the few months Ive been here Ive come to the conclusion that many of you dont get what this page was originally intended for.Columbus Man(aka Charles Man) is a place for you to be heard. *EXPRESSION FOR EVERYONE* You can submit your stories and ideas without the fear of being judged. I do the best I can to decide what should and should not be posted. Sometimes I make mistakes, but I am learning each day. We like to post your stories and opinions to give you the freedom to express your mind, always anonymous. Sometimes I take the downfall for others actions and words. Its okay, I understand that you feel the need to point the finger somewhere. Remember that I am putting my trust out on the line when I post your stories just as you are with me. Some say I am a drama starter, but I feel the drama starts within you. Here is an old submission I pulled up by someone who gets it:This is a community web page. If we dont like certain things posted or certain comments made by people a good start would be to not to submit things to Columbus Man that are offensive or not comment before taking others into consideration. Also, be thankful that we are able to see the real things that are happening around us. Some posts may hurt and some seem distasteful, but lets all take a look at the bigger picture here. After all isnt this a reflection of our community? Columbus Man is a voice for all and what are we saying about ourselves when we dont like what we see?? I am thankful for Columbus Man and our community. I dont always enjoy seeing what I read, but it has opened up my eyes to what is really going on and also has helped me to be more aware. Thank you Columbus people and have a great day!:)....This page is for raw news and raw life, and also to share the wonders of our town of Columbus. Im sorry if some of you get upset by the reality that is around us, but this is life. Its not always going to be happy and Im not here to sugar coat it for you. I am here to share the good and the bad moments with you. It is up to me and you to keep the true mission of this page going. If you feel you this page can do better, let me see your stories?? Share with me your ideas. I grow tired of the complaints when you add nothing positive to my world and continue to complain. Same rules still apply. No F Bombs, No C Bombs, and if you send me threats you are banned immediately. I know some of you feel that you may have been unjustly been banned from this page(Lol...meaning you most likely cant read this) I can only try to make that better. Please do not come on this page verbally attacking me or other readers. Try to articulate yourself and learn to have a healthy debate. I have a lot of love and compassion for all of you and I thank you all for your continued grace. I really enjoy being a part of this community, and together we can make this page better. Lets carry out the original mission of the CM page.-CMA
