Greetings Don, first of all thanks for accepting me in to the group, second of all greetings to every one else on the page. To answer your question about the Walvis bay badge and the name of the base,yes Don that is the badge i have one till this day and one of the very few Commendation certs that were presented to me for services rendered to both N.O.I.C. Walvis bay (as the base was known) and 2 S.A.I (border duty with the Desert Rats),,,,,,,photo of WO1 Pentz and myself receiving our medal for border duty with 2 S.A.I.
