Greetings Hostel Inmates of H-13 SWAMI VIVEKANAND BHAVAN If given an opportunity, I SHAKTI SINGH RAJPUROHIT, student of b.tech. final year mechanical engineering, would like to serve for the well-being of our hostel inmates as the “HOSTEL SECRETARY”. As a candidate for hostel secretary, Swami Vivekananda Bhavan (H-13), I would like to propose the following key points which I will put into enforcement after being elected. MANIFESTO: • XEROX CUM STATIONARY ROOM Shall put forth a proposal of a common Xerox and stationary & will try my level best to introduce it before mid semester examination. • NIGHT CANTEEN The night canteen will open as soon as possible (mostly within 5 to 8 days) after the elections. • MESS PATTERN & MESS BILL Will put forth an idea of student run mess in the meeting & will try to get it passed. And in case if it doesn’t work will talk to the concerned person for the Monthly display of mess bill on the notice board for better transparency. • LIFT Improvement of lift’s condition and installment of fan in each lift will be done within a few days. Proper maintenance shall be carried out afterwards too. • T.T. (TABLE TENNIS) ROOM I, along with the sports secretary, shall ask for a separate TT room for 3rd year students. • WATER COOLERS In case of any problem with water cooler, inform the supervisor about the problem & If it is not fixed within a day let me know it directly, I shall take care of it. • INSTALLMENT OF BENCHES IN HOSTEL LAWN For students to relax and utilize the lawn in a better way, benches will be introduced in hostel lawn. • IMMEDIATE CHECKUP OF ALL THE WI-FI ROUTERS Immediate checkup of all the Wi-Fi routers in the hostel shall be carried out and necessary action will be taken including replacement if required. • FOGGING Proper fogging will be done in hostel so as to avoid malaria and fever. • CLEANLINESS Proper Action will be taken regarding the issue of cleanliness. Toilet and bathroom will be cleaned at a regular interval so the student will not face any kind of problem related to this issue. • HOSTEL MAGAZINE Hostel magazine will be published at the end of session which will include the achievements of hostel inmates and various activities conducted in the hostel premises throughout the session.
