Greetings ... I am so humbled to be making this status update this morning ... In a little over 3 weeks I will be accomplishing something that so many people said I wouldve never accomplished ... I can remember being told at 15 that I would never live to see my 18th birthday ... At 18 I was told I would never live to see my 21st birthday ... At 21 I was told I would be dead or in prison for life by my 25th birthday ... When I turned 25 I was killed twice by my community and once by the South Carolina Department Of Correction ... But, with all those man made graves ... I still rose on the 3rd day with a book that changed my life forever more .... Almost 25 years later And the protection from the Author of my book .... December 25th, 2014 I will have reached a major milestone in my life .... Even though I have a little over 3 weeks before the 25th .... I think if I dont make it to see that day Ive seen enough on this side of the dirt to be ready for whatever awaits me on the other side ... I am very humbled to say that Christmas Day 2014 I will have been on this earth 50 years ... If by chance I dont make it ... Whoever says words over me ... Please say; I wasnt the person I fought so hand to become ... But I was a lot better than the person I once was ... Whatever happens .... I am humbly thankful for the time I was allowed to become the change I want to see in others ... I go now wishing peace and blessings to you all .... Salaam!
