Greetings Ladies and Gentlefolk! It is with great pleasure that I announce the new Mystwood Rulebook, Mystwood 3rd Edition. This version is nicely formatted with a multitude of lovely illustrations throughout the text. There is also an expanded description of all basic occupations for your enjoyment. Very few major changes were made to the rules the following are the notable ones: -With each new level of Wisdom a character will learn a free spell of their choice from the rulebook. (Characters who should have earned these spells in the past will be granted them, just make note of it the next time you check in) -Accolades are a new mechanic that will allow staff to reward excellent role players/ characters with a special title that will last for one year. For example Baldric the Brave, Constance the Wise, Jiminy the Honest. -A new feat has been added that will allow characters to partake in adventures between events. These between game adventures must relate specifically to a chronicle, and should be things that could not be achieved in game. -Skills can now be purchased from the rule book to add on to your character. These skills cost 5, 10, or 15 moonstones with a progressive cost of +1 moonstone per skill purchased. You can reduce the cost of learning a new skill by finding an NPC teacher in game. -The Rapier has been added to the unusual weapon list as a sword that can be just a bit longer than the average sword offering a skilled duelist a bit of an advantage in exchange for the ability to deal severs. These are the only changes made in the new edition but it may be wise to skim through the book and brush up on the rules and look at the lovely pictures for inspiration.
