Greetings Market Fans! Winter weather is here but that will not prevent us from bringing you the best selections of fresh veggies around. The recent freeze is great for winter vegetables as it makes them sweeter and more flavorful. Strawberry season is in full swing and the taste of just picked berries is far superior to those grocery store ones that are picked early, shipped, warehoused and put on the shelf weeks later. Expect to find these items this week: green beans, strawberries, spinach, lettuce, kale and other greens, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, beets, turnips, tomatoes, radishes, cucumbers, brussels sprouts, snow peas, spaghetti and butternut squash, onions, potatoes, sweet potatoes, eggs, honey and numerous other items. There will also be lots of pasture raised meats including Bison, lots of baked goods and sweets along with our great artisan vendors. We are located at the intersection of Main St. and Walnut St. in downtown Tomball. Our hours are 9 AM to 1 PM and are open rain or shine so dress warm and come get some healthy goodness! See you at the market!
