Greetings NKY SHRM, It is with regret that I must inform you the Board has accepted Kathy Yeltons resignation as current President Elect to pursue a change in her career path. Although we are very sad to see Kathy leave, we do wish her the very best in her future endeavors. Although this was an unforeseen situation I believe weve made an unfortunate situation a positive one for our chapter and Board of Directors. Effective immediately Kelly Schoneing has assumed all vice presidential responsibilities after her appointment during this weeks Board meeting. Kelly is a tenured Board member with a great deal of knowledge and is very excited about her new role; she will succeed to President in 2015. In preparation for next years board, we will have elections at the end of this month for next years officers. Positions to be elected for 2015 will be for Treasurer, Secretary and Vice President. If you are interested in running for one if these positions or would like to nominate a fellow chapter member please notify me at amy.hehman@gmail no later than Friday, September 19th.
