Greetings, Our plans for tomorrow are to have our Message from Gods Word have the title Baptism Demonstrated and our scriptures will include Acts 8:26-39. We also plan to have another baptismal service, and those to be baptized are Bro. James (Poppie) Scaggs and Bro. Joshua Bellin. This is always an interesting and exciting time to have someone such as these two follow Jesus example by being baptized. So we hope that you will come be with us and therefore let these guys know that we will continue to pray with them and for them in days ahead. Also, remember that beginning at 6:00 P.M. tomorrow night, instead of having our regular Evening Worship Service, we will be following something that this church has done for years (once a year) by having a Chili and Soup Cook-off there in the fellowship hall. The dishes will be prepared by men of the church, and all who eat will serve as judges. This is a great outreach activity, as well as a time for great Christian fellowship and love. So make plans now to come for this time of gathering - I am anxious to be there since I have never been a part of such before.
