Greetings Van Nuys Council-members, Community Leaders & Stakeholders, I would like to formally invite you to our next Van Nuys Neighborhood Council General Meeting this coming Wednesday, August 14th at 7pm. It is going to be a very exciting event, with Los Angeles City Councilman Paul Kerkorian and Department of Neighborhood Empowerment (DONE) General Manager Grayce Liu presenting before our council and giving speeches. We are also having a series of VNNC Committee Meetings before the General Meeting, and information on the location, time, and the agenda items will be coming forthwith. As it looks right now, our committees will be called to order at 6:00pm on Wednesday, August 14th, and we will be having two of the committee meetings in the council chambers, one in the adjacent multi-purpose room, and another across the street at Tres Hermanos Restaurant. We will also be debuting the Van Nuys Neighborhood Council “Constituent Assistance & Suggestion Form” so we can take an in-depth look at and officially address any issues and concerns within our district.
