Greetings to the Populace; In keeping with Child Protection Policy and Background Check Procedures those who wish to undertake child related activities including: - Youth combat marshals -Youth mentors for the Youth and Family Activity Program -people running childrens classes or activities not associated with the above programs will need Working with Children Checks in the parts of Australia where they are required. Details of your working with childrens check need to be forwarded to the local group Seneschal and the Youth Officer, who will issue a SCA card. These policies can be accessed via sca.org.au/board/documents/policy. Please refer to this document for the requirements for your State. In order to start issuing the SCA Youth Activity Authorisation Card a scanned copy (or a high resolution, clear photograph) of your card needs to be sent to: [email protected] As well as the following information: > Name > SCA Name > Membership Number > Group > State > Email > Postal Address (so I can post you your card) There will be a maximum of 2-3 week turn-around for posted cards; there is a phase in period for the SCA cards until May 1st so please allow for this in your planning for activities.
