Greetings all you stronghearts and brilliant Souls, I met with our writers group last night and exchanged many great ideas and the input and feedback was as always priceless. Networking in the arts is something I have found to be very life giving and meaningful beyond words, when writers get together there always remains so much creativety that plants itself just waiting to be utilized. And of course I learn so much more about Texas History this great state almost seems to stand strongly alone and there is always (in some circles) still talk of sessesion which of course is an unrealistic fantasy in todays age. Much the way in parts of Georgia and South Carolina where some folks still speak of the horrors of Shermans March Then what better drop back than History does any writer has as a reference guide ? I have found that to study history in an agressive Need To Know diligent manner many, many answers come your way, its human nature to desire to rewrite the history books, many of us thirst for truth of our ancestors and those who went before us. My experience has been in quiet meditation on any historical event the truth is always the truth, and the truth like our thirst for it also has a deeper need to be known she will come, and come with open arms to the sincere historian who only wishes to tell her truth the way it was, the way it really was. Think it was Jesus who said Seek, and ye shall find - yeah ok, I know its in Forbes Magazine too. Jesus of course loved truth seekers, since he himself was one. There remains nothing more precious to a historian / writer than the truth of who, what, why, and how a certain incident in History came about and passed. Look for truth, let her always be in your quest no matter your profession or artistic abilities. Hey, you all make this a great day, if nobody told you they love you yet today let me be the first- I love ya, Thank you Gary Hagstorm, wherever you are :-) NAMASTE
