Greetings brothers, sisters, friends & supporters, I greet you in - TopicsExpress

Greetings brothers, sisters, friends & supporters, I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, whom through all things are possible. It is 3am on Sunday morning, and as is my observance, I have just finished prayers and am ready for sleep ready for Liturgy in the morning. I cant help but continue to log on to facebook to see and read all the help everyone is giving to secure a shipment of Gloves and Masks. I am not a frequent facebook user but I find myself looking forward to log on and read the wonderful support people are giving. And it may be the emotional roller coaster that we are enduring here at the moment, but I so much miss being with you all in Australia; just to enjoy the simple things of life, like electricity, water and Greek SWEETS & food. Every year I look forward to returning to Melbourne and all of Australia to fellowship with my Priest friends, my ex students and my friends & supporters. Life here is harder than usual and the Ebola has transformed my beloved Sierra Leone back into the feeling that a war is dawning on the country. One of our Orthodox Church first sons, called yesterday to say that he was sick and would not come in, this minor and everyday occurrence sent bolt of concern through my body, but it was just exhaustion from all the work we have been doing. I think All the airlines have discontinued flight from Sierra Leone, so please anyone who were planning to visit and help anytime this year I am suggesting that you cancel your trip and we look forward to seeing you at a later date. My most fervent prayers and deepest and most sincere thanks to all who are helping P4K around the world especially the volunteer in Australia and the USA. +Rev Themi
