Black is the colour that goes with everything, is flattering to wear, hides a multitude of sins and makes us look slim. No wardrobe is complete without a little black dress, staple since the 1920s when designers such as Coco Chanel invented tailored knee-length shift dresses that were perfect for cocktail hour. The easiest thing about black is you dont have to think too much about it. But it is very important to make sure each material, each piece is different whilst paring. Helmut Lang, Tom Ford at Gucci, and Nicole Farhi have black at the heart of their collections. Ive shown four looks in monochromatic black. Look I A black shirt teamed with a black short, black coat and a bag. Shorts are comfy and effortless but this asymmetric cut and heels makes its a bit edegy. Look II A classic little black dress is a staple for any wardrobe. its a very simple dress that will carry you from season to season in style. You can accessorize it in many ways but here i have kept it vey simple with just a pair of black heels and a bow belt. Look III A stripped top teamed with a pair of black jeggings, black heels and a bag to complete the look. Dark colors have a slimming effect, which makes your leg look lean and long. Look IV This dress is perfect!! Every girl needs a black dress in their closet; they are safe, simple and never go out of fashion. It is very handy when you are in doubt or don’t know what to wear. I have kept the overall look pretty simple with just adding a chain belt , heel and a clutch to comple the look .
