Greetings everyone, I hope this email finds you well! I would like to inform you of an opportunity that can benefit children in the Triad/Greensboro area. The I Am A Queen organization is coordinating their 6th Annual Back to School Drive that will take place on Saturday, August 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the gymnasium at the Windsor Recreation Center, located at 1601 E. Lee St., Greensboro, N.C. Our goal this year is to help 800 needy children in the triad and we need your support to make this possible. We are looking for donations of backpacks, pencils, pens, paper, notebooks, binders, folders, crayons, colored pencils, glue sticks and scissors. Four Ways You Can Help: · Collect/purchase school supplies to donate at our designated drop off locations or on the day of the event. (Visit iamaqueen.org for details regarding drop off locations) · Donate funds to help buy school supplies at iamaqueen.org · Share this information with other nonprofits, churches or businesses to encourage them to collect school supplies · Inform youth organizations and families to attend the event(as an volunteer, as an participant or as an financial supporter) ( Fifth way - if you see me, call me , meet me; you can give me your donation. I cannot accept donations after July 31,2014. I will take any monies collected and go to VA to their tax free weekend event to purchase supplies. Any amount will be accepted ,please and thanks-Bobby) In addition to your support, each of you , your family, or organization plays a critical role in challenging others to give. not just to this organization but to A group that is making a difference.
