Greetings everyone! The Republican Party of Eddy County Headquarters now has a telephone. The number is 575-499-6444. Open shifts available to staff headquarters are Mondays 11-2....2-5....5-7 Tuesdays 8-11.....2-5 Wednesdays 11-2....2-5 Thursdays 8-11....11-2....2-5....5-7 Fridays 8-11....2-5... 5-7 Saturdays 8-11....2-5....5-7 If everyone takes a 3 hour shift once a week we could have it open all day every day, to register voters, sell gun raffle tickets, hand out candidate literature and information and just visit and encourage people that come in. Thanks goes out to all those who have signed up to staff the headquarters 2 to 6 hours a week. There will be sign-up sheets for Fair booth shifts and Headquarters shifts. Monday the 21st is Eddy County fair parade and booth set up. We invite all of our local candidates to participate in the parade and plan on being in the booth at the fair sometime during the week. Nancy Jorren is in charge of the booth, please contact her at 520-3999 to find out what shifts are available and to sign up to work in the fair booth. We will be having a float in the parade and everyone is invited to come to Artesia and help decorate the float, then ride or walk in the parade. We will meet around 1:30 at the corner of 7th and Quay to decorate the trailer, then line up at 3:00 Parade starts at 4. Then on the the Fair Grounds for booth set up. Thanks again to everyone who has volunteered and we invite all of the central committee members and any others who are able and willing to join us, and Get Involved ! We need you all ! Teamwork..... dividing the tasks, multiplies the results! For our Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, and those yet unborn.... Lets do our part to help save the United States of America!
