Greetings family apologies have not been able to be on this platform was not in the right frame of mind. 9 September will be the one of the saddest days of my life. Have never failed to fulfill my artistic obligations not if l can help it. l failed to travel to Bayimba international Festival of the arts in Uganda, festivals in Africa dont come this big. I was so sure l had bagged this one but somehow it eluded me. Thanks to Honorable Andrew Langa the Minister of Sports Arts and Culture funding was secured from Netone, even though it wasnt enough to cover the total traveling costs, Kenya airways chipped in with favorable rates to suit the available finances. Band was rehearsing eight hours a day, music sounding nice this was one house we were going to bring down with music. Problems started when our drummer and keyboard player pulled out because of rumors of a fifteen day quarantine on return but rectified, stepped in daddy lsh and Diva drummer all was sorted. Airline then requested for their payment, which became a challenge because the sponsor Netone could only avail the money on Monday which was after the festival reason being that the other signatory was not in town. Airline then requested for a guarantee letter that payment will be transferred Monday that was it no letter ever came. The ministry official tasked with the letter proved difficult to work with the letter never was she just wasnt up for it l guess. I did all l could but hey she just wasnt accessible until Saturday. Bayimba official, brother Faisal Kiwewa, Masembe Philip, Tweny Ben Ali, and Gisa Jr Gong Brian, l am sincerely sorry for the inconvenience caused, your efforts to promote the Nehoreka brand in East Africa and the world will not go for nothing. From the deepest part of my heart l would like to thank you for making me a part of your family. Ugandan people who have been so looking forward to Nehoreka l am sorry hope we will dance together the Good Lord permitting. Honorable Langa your love for the arts is what our industry in this country needs, you are one of a kind, thank you for being there for us. Kenya Airways Mr Dominic Agwavu you are real really appreciate your efforts. Netone Mr Reward Kangai the Ceo and Marketing Manager Rutendo you really are angels. Mr Kenneth Madhombiro and Diaspora publishers nuff respect God sent you were. My fellow musicians baba Bob Nyabinde, Edith Weutonga, Simba Saini, Nendoro, Tomas Brickhill and Rodriguez thank you very much for the support and love you unveiled during our fundraising efforts really humbled lets continue spreading the ❤ love.
