Greetings, fellow Woodlawners (Woodlawn-ites?) ! The history project is moving right along. Im putting out a request to anyone who might have knowledge of, or contacts for, the author of a 1981 document about the plantation & estate. Her name is Laura Plant Mayer, and I believe, although I am not certain, that she was a graduate student in U.Va.s landscape architecture school. No luck yet at the university itself (ironically, since I went to grad school & now work there... ah, well). Any leads or recommendations greatly appreciated. Amateur sleuthing encouraged :) In the spirit of Woodlawn & now Claddagh, ~ Shirley
