Greetings from Americas Heartland! Dempsey is really enjoying his foster sister, Sissy. They run and play together in their huge fenced back yard in Kansas. Heres a note his Foster Mom sent today: I can’t believe what a good dog he is! Dempsey the Dog is actually a Ninja. A stealth dog. A secret agent. I am trying real hard to keep him off the furniture – whoever adopts him might not like that habit. Twice I looked up from my notebook and lo and behold – he was sitting right beside me! Dont have a clue how/when he got up there. Just looked up and he was staring into my eyes. All the big lug ( and yes he is BIG) wants is to be near you. Cant believe he was in an outdoor pen for SEVEN years – his house manners are impeccable. No messes, doesnt chew on anything but bones, learned the dog door in a matter of hours. Even gets along with Sissy and that is a major accomplishment! He is going to make someone an absolutely wonderful companion. His only fault is he has to be with another dog – he cant handle being alone. But he shared a pen with another dog for all those years so I can understand it. What a sweet sweet boy. Dempsey will soon be up for adoption. Stay tuned!
