Greetings from Anubhuti! Anubhuti is pleased to announce its 2nd workshop on Psycho-educational Assessment Report Writing on Saturday 17th Jan. 2015 from 10am - 4pm in Mumbai. Why Report Writing: After completing a comprehensive psychological assessment, the test scores needs to be summarized effectively into an assessment report. Psychological reports may vary widely. They may be as short as three to four pages or as long as fifteen to twenty pages or even more! Many reports include tables of scores that may be included in the report or may be attached at the end. It is a skill that every Clinical Psychologist needs to master. Without effectively written psychological assessment reports, the entire effort to assess the child will be a waste. Objectives of the workshop: 1. Review and analyse the purpose of each section of the psycho-educational assessment report 2. Review sample statements with incorrect inferences 3. Review sample statements that are unclear and too vague 4. Discuss best practices in writing good psycho-educational reports 5. Discussion using sample reports Who can Attend: Clinical Psychologists - students, freshers or working professionals.... anyone who does a comprehensive psycho-educational assessment and need to master the skill of effective report writing is welcome to this workshop! About the Facilitator: Mrs. Mukta Daga has done her Masters in Psychology from India and earned her Education Specialist (Ed.S) Degree in School Psychology from Rider University in NJ (USA). She has worked as a School Counselor in several different school settings in Mumbai, from International School to BMC School (adopted by an NGO) to being a part of a multi-disciplinary team of professionals in a school based counselling center. One of her strengths lie in writing good psycho-educational reports that have been admired and complimented by her colleagues and seniors alike.
