Greetings from Kensington College of Business, London (A partner College of Glyndwr University)!!! We are pleased to inform that KCB is now offering 4 years Integrated Programme (International Foundation Course followed by Bachelors Degree) awarded by Glyndwr University. The CAS is issued by Glyndwr University and students are eligibile to work part-time for the entire 4 years while studying and full time during vacation. KCB in partnership with a company called Digital Sea, UK offers guaranteed part time job for all our students in Hotel Industry which might help them to take care of their living expenses in the UK. Students would initially study either of the below mentioned programme for one year: • International Foundation Year : Business • International Foundation Year : Computing followed by Bachelors Degree on the following routes Foundation Year Strand Programme Students Enrol On Business BA (Hons) Business Accounting (including International Foundation Year) BA (Hons) Business Management (including International Foundation Year) BA (Hons) Business Marketing (including International Foundation Year) Computing BSc (Hons) Applied Computing (including International Foundation Year) • Students will be applying for the Internal Foundation Year plus 3 years Degree programme • University will issue 4 years immigration sponsorship (CAS) letter • Course fees: £5300 per year International Foundation Year consists of: • 60 credits of English Language and skills and study support. • 60 credits of subject-specific modules, designed to provide academic underpinning for academic study at undergraduate level. • The International Foundation Year is a single year of full-time study consisting of six modules studied over two semesters. All modules carry 20 credits each. A single module normally consists of 200 hours of study split into formal contact and self-directed study. Academic and English language entry requirements The academic entry requirements are specified in terms of the minimum marks or grades to be achieved in relevant subjects in the final Grade 12 school leaving certificate (or equivalent) for the country in which the applicants took their examinations. (Appendix A) The English language entry requirements are specified in terms of the minimum marks or grades to be achieved in specific internationally recognised English language tests. English language entry criteria for the programme, IELTS 5.5 (with no element below 5.0) or equivalent using a secure English language test (SELT). Recommended Entry Requirements for the International Foundation Year Country Recommendation Bangladesh Successful completion of High School Certificate at an average grade of 65% China Senior High School (12 years) 75% India Class XII When awarded by State Board other than Delhi, Maharashtra, Chennai, Kolkatta or Karnataka (which allow progression to Year 1 of a degree) Malaysia Chinese High School (12 years) 75% or 10 x SPM Grade A Nepal Completion of school leaving intermediate Certificate (after 12 yrs) with overall grade of 65, with minimum of minimum of 70 in relevant subjects Pakistan Year 12 Certificate – Average 65% Sri Lanka A Level 120 points Vietnam Successful completion of Year 12 Upper Secondary School Graduation Certificate 6.5 or above. Year 11’s may be accepted with a GPA of 6.5 overall and 6.5 in relevant subjects
