Greetings from Southern Africa! Racial stereotyping backfires: a black friend (name withheld) told me that he had a misunderstanding with a lady, white, over some petty issue. Blaming the lady for the misunderstanding and stereotyping the misunderstanding as motivated by racism, and calling the lady a racist and considering himself the victim of the racism, he stormed out of the restaurant. But a few seconds later, a man, totally unaware of the misunderstanding, emerged from the restaurants bathroom and joined the white lady. Next the two walked out of the restaurant affectionately holding hands and kissing lightly on the lips. My friend who was now standing outside, saw the loving pair and was shocked with disbelief and embarrassment: the white ladys lover or husband was Black!!!!!!!!!!!! IN THIS DAY AND AGE, RACIAL STEREOTPYING IS SLIPPERY BUSINESS.
