Greetings from somewhere , probably around Tula, Hidalgo, and wherever the bus turns off on its way to Guadalajara and then Puerto Vallarta. Everyday, I am reminded how backward the United States is becoming. The example is, Im texting from the bus between Mexico City and Puerto Vallarta. Not even the Amtrak has WiFi, except maybe along the East Coast. Nobody has to pay for internet service here in Mexico. It is considered a basic human right. Is Mexico perfect? Of course not, but Mexico and the rest of the world are leaving the US behind. I often rant about injustices and the US. The sad truth is that the US had so much to offer. I wish to remember Sharon Kennedy who had shoulder surgery today and wish her a speedy and painless recovery. She is one of the people that helps to get the mail delivered to peoples doors across the country everyday. I will always be very fond of her. She was my co-worker in Oak Creek, WI until I retired in 2011 and Im thinking of Dvoraks Humoresque for you, Sharon.
