Greetings from the Longs Peak Scottish and Irish Festival in Estes - TopicsExpress

Greetings from the Longs Peak Scottish and Irish Festival in Estes Park. Our new Jr. Dev AKA Rusty has been persuaded by my next-door neighbor Uncle Mack to volunteer. Rusty and I worked from home on Labor Day, so our boss has given us Friday off. The bank has a booth, but I have nothing to do with that. Im a member of Clan Campbell and also claim affiliation with several other clans. Lowe is a sept of Clan McLaren. Mack (Dr. McDonald) is a member of Clan Donald. Campbells and McDonalds are traditional enemies from the days of the Battle of Culloden. But Uncle Mack and I buried the hatchet. Celtic music is fantastic. We are commuting from Denver three days. Im wearing my kilt, etc. and a T-shirt now. But it can get very windy up here in Estes. So I must advice all my clan cousins to wear briefs underneath their kilts. Total historical accuracy is not necessary. The music is fantastic. Mack and I picked up the breakfast tab for a whole band of eight people....whew! More later....
