Greetings from the beautiful 36-acre campus of Heartland Baptist Bible College! Although the school is located in the HEARTLAND of America, many of the students and staff are busy ministering all over the United States at summer camps, in summer internships and through their local church. In addition, Heartland is blessed to have three singing groups and two VBS teams traveling all around the country this year. We are thankful for the many pastors that have shared with us that the students and their sponsors have been a blessing to their churches. Please pray for the safety and ministry opportunities of the following groups representing Heartland this summer: Witness! (sponsors Ed and Benita Pearson), Assurance (sponsors Jamie and Vickie Jett), GloryBound (sponsors Andrew and Abigail Albert), and the North and South VBS Teams. I was blessed to accompany the Heartland Summer Mission Team. This year, the team chose to minister within the USA at a one year old church plant pastored by 2005 Heartland graduate Adam Riviero in Easton, Massachusetts, which is located just outside of Boston. While there, we assisted them with their first Vacation Bible School. Currently, they are averaging 34 at Sunday services. During VBS, they had a high of 20 children on Friday night. It is always a very special blessing to witness one of our own graduates doing the work of the ministry. Pastor Rivieros wife, Diane (Grey), also a 2005 graduate, and their three sweet children serve the Lord along side Bro. Adam. Please pray for this new work and the fine people of Liberty Baptist Church in Easton, MA. Lastly, thank you for your prayers and financial support.
