The Metropolitan Fresh Start House is now twenty-five years old, that is hard to believe, but it is true the Metropolitan Fresh Start House has been saving lives for a quarter of a century and has blessed many families. What began as a dream of a few good Christians has blessed thousands of men and their families for time and eternity. As one of the founders and directors of this great program I ask of you to assist this program in an indirect way this time. My oldest son (my wife’s stepson), Jowan Carbin, has finally gotten his big break! He is the writer and director of a movie that is in the developmental stage to be shown in movie theaters throughout the world. The completion target date of this project will be towards the end of 2015. The title is Born Again Dead. I NEED YOUR SUPPORT! After years of struggling, I am finally making my first feature length film! Carol Bidault de l’Isle is my award-winning producer, and we have been busy planning my feature debut; a psychological thriller entitled, Born Again Dead. The movie tells the story of a tormented man who slowly loses his grip on reality as horrific dreams force him to face his past and lead him to an unspeakable discovery. This will be an independent movie. Although we expect to raise the majority of the money from “industry sources”, such as distributors, sales agents, and the tax credit from the state of Louisiana (which is where the film takes place); there is still 30% that we need to raise on our own. We plan to raise the money in 3 stages - Stage One; the Development Stage, consists of hiring our Casting Director who will most importantly help secure the stars of our movie.
