Greetings students Today at 11 am at the SRC offices, the outgoing SRC shall be having its last press conference where we shall be addressing the media about several issues. These issues are 1. Supplementary exams. As some of you might be aware,the University of Botswana has finally released all the rules and regulations and the proposed dates of the supplementary exams for the year 2014-We shall announce these rules and regulations today at 11. This is one of the greatest achievements of the Umbrella led SRC. Those who did not believe us when we told the students that the supplementary exams are back pending implementation should now bury their heads in the sand. 2. Book Allowance. The UDC led SRC has made history once again by ending the bookstore monopoly. Those who have been listening proceedings in parliament can attest to this. Come this August Books Botswana shall be humbled! 3. The SRC shall also talk about the suspensions of some its members and it is during this press conference that we shall deliver our last message. 4. General Feedback on our manifesto. Beside what our detractors are saying, a lot has been achieved by the SRC amid the harassment they faced from the Fako regime. The Bookstore monopoly and the supplementary exams were the two major items of our manifesto and they have been achieved. Who says we have failed? Outgoing Vice President
