Greetings to all! I am up and Jumping at the sun on this unusually cool July morning. Please allow me to share with this article taken from our Save Atlantas Friendship page. It contains both information about the demolition of the church as well as facts that surround the sweetheart deal if you will with Arthur Blank, the falcons, the City of Atlanta and the State of Georgia. I ask you how much sense does it make to have a stadium that is now benefiting us as taxpayers, only to allow our Mayor and City Council to vote to build a new one with a bond referendum and hotel and motel tax money. Presently, we benefit from the present stadium and by allowing this to happen we are literally giving millions of dollars that could be used for our infrastruicture, schools, hospital, teachers, fire and police officers and so much more. We were not allowed to vote on all of this, but we are expected to vote on a bond referendum of over 1 billion dollars for the infrastructure. City Council will vote on this in full council the first Monday in December and the taxpayers are being asked to vote and support this in early March of 2015. In light of all of this, I ask you how much sense does it make for us to sit back idly and allow this time of leadership that obviously does not work in the best interest of all of us?
