Greetings to all. My name is Jeff and I am the newest member to this discussion group. I saw the Last Starfighter some years ago, and countless times since then. It ticks me off they never made a sequel. And now that its thirty years later, I keep day dreaming of someone in Hollywood getting all the gang back together again to do a theatrical movie or a TV series. My mind imagines the Star League on Rylos thirty years later. Alex, Maggie, and Louis are all part of the Starfighter Corps. Replacement actors are needed for the original films older actors, plus new alien types to add flavor. Most of the stories could be based in space around Rylos; while others have the children of the three main characters discovering the wonders of alien planets and occasionally going back to Earth to visit Grandma. Also, two or three of the kids are old enough to join the Starfighter Corps too. And how about Louis wife being one of the local Rylos ladies. Me a fan of this movie? Guilty as charged. :-)
