Greetings unto the Bards of An Tir, This past weekend at July - TopicsExpress

Greetings unto the Bards of An Tir, This past weekend at July Coronation his Majesty granted unto us a chartre recognizing us as a Kingdom Company of An Tir. For five years my self and others have worked towards the creation of a well known, well organized, and fun bardic community here in the kingdom. This chartre truly is recognition by the greater kingdom community of what we as a group have become. This would not be possible without the joy and enthusiasm of bards from across our great lands. My heart overflows with the generosity and hard work that this community has shown in growing bardic in An Tir. To see this dream come to fruition has passed all my expectations and hopes. From the bottom of my heart I thank each and everyone of you for making this amazing community. It would take far to long to thank the individuals who have helped make this happen. Where I can I have reached out and thanked individually those who have put that extra effort in. A few questions I can foresee folks asking. What does this mean for the Bards of An Tir? The largest changes will be administrative, in how the BoAT interfaces with autocrats of various events. This gives us official recognition from the king which will make land grabs, room reservations, and coordination easier. As for the day to day stuff we will mostly be operating the same as we have before. The BoAT will have two Company heads, Lady Emma the current bardic champion of An Tir and myself have stepped up as the first heads of the An Tir Bardic Company. We will file the two yearly reports, and host the once a year company meeting. We will keep a record of those bards who are in the company and report this to the King. What does the chartre say and mean? The charter in essence says that we support the bardic community through out the kingdom. Its a bit more fancifully written in the chartre itself, feel free to take a look at the link provided below. goo.gl/uGieHW How do I join the Company? Who can Join? Those who wish to be part of the guild need only notify us. The best way to do this is to add yourself to the “who’s who” document listed in the bardic digest on the BoAT page. There is no requirement to join the guild. What if I do not wish to be a part of the Company? Just remove yourself from the roster no problem. Are there any rankings in the Company? At this time there are no levels in the Company, or for the forceable future. The only rank in the guild is that of the two administrative positions of Company head and Co head. If you have any questions feel free to ask me or Emma either privately or through this forum. Once again I thank you all for helping make this possible. Ollamh Ruadhan O Fearain, OL Company Head, An Tir Bards
