Greewell State Park - Bluebird Bonanza A bluebird box along the Bluebird Trail Introduction To Quest Walk the newly designed Bluebird Trail that follows the former 1.3 mile long Brown Trail around the farmland and alongside the wood line. The trail never enters the forest, making it the perfect trail for bluebird boxes. All bluebird boxes, as well as the bluebird information sheet you will come across, were designed and put in place by a local Eagle Scout. Quest Information This quest is available daily from sunrise to sunset. You must print your worksheet and bring it with you. Enter the park and follow the signs for Park Quest 2013. After passing through the entrance, make the first left. A bulletin board and signs indicating Park Quest Parking will be located on the right hand side of the road. Park your vehicle and cross the gravel road, following signs for Park Quest 2013 Start. You will travel to 15 different bluebird boxes along the trail. Each bluebird box will have a sign with a bluebird on it and a corresponding number. These signs can be twisted to reveal the answer to each question on your questionnaire. After finding the answer, please return the sign to its original position. After answering the questions, you must unscramble the boxed letters to discover the answer to the final question. Park Questers must write the answer to the final question next to the stamp in order for the Park Quest to be valid. The trail is a loop, so you will end your quest back by your vehicle. The terrain is uneven, so use caution while walking. Take extra precaution when arriving at the “Bonus View” as it is located next to the edge of a cliff. Pets are allowed on a leash. The trail is accessible to all terrain strollers but not traditional strollers.
