Greg left for El Salvador this morning at about 7:15. Yep, I wanted to cry when I dropped him off as usual, but I knew that he would be just fine! I told Greg once that missionary work was not for me and I had no desire to do anything but prayerfully support that effort! W R O N G ! I know that God and Jesus both got a Heavenly cackle out of that one! anyway he and our closest church family members and friends from Stones Crossing Church, have arrived safely there and a couple of hours ago were having their first El Salvadorian (sp?) meal of ......Chicken!!!!! I can only imagine the love and joy in their hearts. I do envy them. One day I would love to be on that team! But now I will settle for being their hometown reporter, and support them any way I can. Each one on that team has a special place in my heart as well as their families and prayers warriors back here at home. Most of us share that same burning desire to share the love of Jesus, but they have taken their desire to a global level. You have to admire that! They are going there to share the love of Jesus at any cost. They dont have safety or security concerns. They definitely are not going there on vacation. give that country hope of eternal life that some people take for granted. We are so blessed to have so many places here to worship God and to find his peace, I do not want to ever take that for granted. Well, I have a little extra time this week. Bridget Bartlett, LindsayLeslie Calvin Bomar wanna do lunch?
