Greg writes- A worldview. Everyone has one. It is formed by our culture,upbringing,education,books we read and the media we take in among other things. It is influenced by our parents and teachers and our friends. A worldview is how we see life. Trust me,you already have a worldview. What we need to ask ourselves is,Is it a good one? What we all need is a Biblical worldview. C.S.Lewis wrote,”I believe in Christianity as I believe the sun has risen.Not only because I see it,but because by it I see everything else.” In our series,”God came near” we are now going to look at the greatest sermon ever preached- The sermon on the mount. This sermon is effectively the ‘worldview’ of Jesus Christ. It is the ‘official manfesto’ of the King of kings and the Lord of lords. In my message this Sunday I will look at the topic “Happiness: what it is and how to have it”. You will be surprised by what we see together. But I might add,’pleasantly surprised”.
