Gremlins Remake Put on the Fast Track at Warner Bros.! It isnt clear if director Joe Dante or executive producer Steven Spielberg will be involved in the remake at this time. the Gremlins remake will be produced by Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg, although it isnt known if the studio has found a writer or a director at this time. However, the remake likely wont materialize without the involvement of Steven Spielberg, who served as executive producer on the original Gremlins.
