Greyhound are trying to get 10 people jailed at this moment for counting to mount effective pickets on scab operations despite a court injunction. In a bizarre move the company has now bussed scabs in to the Four Courts to stand around with company printed signs. These scabs, who have been told by Buckley that the company might go under if effective picketing continues, have once again chosen the bosses side. The company has its accounts hidden in the Isle of Man so they have also simply chosen to believe the companies claims. But in any case its more that slightly shameful to stand around with company printed signs proclaiming We have Families and Mortgages Too. In the circumstances this is a whine about fearing that what they have helped Buckley impose on the locked out workers since June may soon arrive at their door. Do it to them but not to us is hardly a slogan to stand proud behind! Its quite possible that the 9 workers and their supporter will be jailed today. If that happens there will be a demonstration this evening at 6pm meeting at the Jim Larkin statue on OConnell St.
