Grounding: aka “Earthing” ~ Remember when I posted on my personal Wall that I am now “grounded”, it’s called “Earthing” and George accomplished it for me with his genius electrical abilities? Well guess what? Now the parrot cages are all grounded too! WooHoo! Now when they climb around in their cages they are only climbing on grounded material! One lucky parrot even has a ground perch in her cage and soon all of them will have at least one grounder perch. And now that one lucky parrot has decided that her grounded perch is her favorite perch! Coincidence? No, not hardly. Think about it. In the wild the trees are naturally grounded with their roots planted firmly in the terra firma. The negative electrical currents travel up the tree and the parrots receive the negative ions simply by perching in the trees. But they don’t receive this “grounding”, otherwise known as “Earthing” in their domesticated environments, ergo “grounded perches” are not only necessary, but vital to their overall health to keep the positive ions at bay in order to keep their immune systems functioning properly and their energy balanced!
