Group 4 Big Give News #7: Sarah and Julien delivered a check for $224, a $25 gift card, and $500 worth of gifts for animals: pet food, litter, collars, leashes, animal toys, guinea pig brushes, etc. to the organization CompAnimals. Animal lovers, Sarah and Julien, wanted to help a no-kill shelter. Because CompAnimals is small, they dont often get the help that some of the larger shelters receive. Sarah and Julien wanted to donate cash in addition to products, so that they could help the organization with some of their operating costs. Sarah and Julien wrote letters to businesses asking for help and received generous donations from Petco, Concord Pets, Walgreens and Newark National 5&10. Julien and Sarah also held silent auctions and put out a donation jar and a collection tub. When Sarah and Julien dropped off their donations, they stayed and volunteered for CompAnimals, which is something they plan on continuing to do in the future. Congratulations Julien and Sarah!
