Group Fitness Booking Policy - 2014 16-May-14 Dear valued member/customer, We have made some adjustments to our Group Fitness booking policy. We are enforcing these changes so that we can improve the standard of our current booking system. Is it essential to book? No, it is not essential. However, the people that have booked will always have preference. Booking for a class is recommended if you want to have a guaranteed position. What’s the best way to book? The best way to book is by phone or verbal communication. Bookings will be accepted if they are made by phone call, or verbally confirmed between yourself and a member of staff. If your phone call is unanswered within our opening hours, we will accept a message if it contains your full name, the class name and date of the class. Can I book through social media e.g. Facebook and emails? No. Booking through Facebook, or email is not effective. This is the least efficient way of placing a booking and we will no longer accept, nor hold responsibility for bookings made through any social media e.g. Facebook and/or emails. The reason for this is very straight forward; only some staff members have access to the business Facebook page, and not all reception staff are required to read and reply to client or business related emails. Can I book in advance? Yes, definitely. We will accept all bookings made in advance. This will also apply to Grit Strength/Cardio. The old Grit booking policy has been overlooked at the present as we are no longer in the peak period. I come every week. Can I make a permanent booking? Unfortunately, no more permanent bookings are allowed. This change is in the best interest of all our members and customers. There have been too many occasions where we have had to turn someone away due to a class being fully booked out, then discovered that there are available positions that were reserved for the permanent bookings who did not notify staff of their absence. Can I set up straight away? See reception first. Please make reception aware that you are present for the class before setting up on the group floor. Scanning your bar-code is essential, but will not necessarily mark you as present for a class. If you are not an in active member or visitor, you will be provided with a booking number that you must present to reception when you sign in. I’ve made a booking. Does it matter if I’m late to class? Yes, your booking will be forfeited if someone is waiting. You must be present prior to the commencement of the warm up for every class. If a member/customer turns up for the class without booking, they will be granted any available spaces from the advertised start time unless other arrangements have been made and agreed upon by management. Cardio Boxing | Special booking conditions Cardio Boxing will require a confirmed 8 participants for the class to run each week. You must book in for each class by phone or verbal communication before Friday, 6.30pm close. Leave your best contact details so we can contact you on Saturday if the class isn’t running the following Monday due to lack of bookings. Thank you for your understanding and your on going support. If you have any queries please contact us.
