Group Input Needed: Ever since messages between my husband and his mistress were accidentally sent to my sons iPod and they now know why we are truly getting a divorce, he has been meaner and meaner to them. They dont want to go with him anyway but now that hes exposed, its terrible for them. Last night, my little girl (11) sent me a text that she was very upset and hurt and wanted to come home. She said that she had gone to sit next to my husband and lie her head on him. He proceeded to tell her to get her face off of him because he didnt want her pimples all over him! She is so sensitive about the bumps she has on her face and this devastated her. She texted me that she was ugly and horrible skin and wished she was pretty. She is beautiful! I of course told her that and kept telling her. My question is this, what kind of person tells not just a child but his child such a cruel thing? When she got upset, he laughed at her and told her she couldnt take jokes and needed to get over it. After they called to tell me goodnight, I spoke with her and she was still crying. My son (13) agreed that he has said it. Im afraid if I say something to him, he will take it out on her. Do I say something or just let it go? Shes at a very hard age, going through changes physically, emotionally, and this horrible divorce. Please offer any advice. My heart is breaking.
