I just submitted to my assigned social worker from DCFS a report from the court clerk clearly showing that the XN has an active warrant out. The bench warrant was issued because the XN did not show proof of completing classes for his DUI. The social worker and her supervisor state that this does not endanger the child and therefore supervise visits will continue, since he is not driving our child anyways. This warrant was in effect when supervised visits were established with the dependency court but the dependency court did not know about the warrant back in January of this year. I have lost hope in the system that supposedly protects children. DCFS, dependency court and family cart are all enablers for narcissists to thrive Im at a loss.
