Group Input Needed: Please post anon for advice: I have full custody of my 7yo, ex has first half of breaks (plus eow). It is now approximately one week since my son was to be returned to me, but ex not only hasnt returned him, he is only occasionally communicating to say Im working so I can make money to buy his ticket. They are thousands of miles away, so i cant just go and get him myself. School starts in 3 weeks. I have already spoken to the police in their city, but have not filed a report. Has anyone else dealt with this? Can anyone give me an idea what will happen if I make a report? And the fact that neither of us has $$ for plane fare? (the court order says he is responsible for roundtrip. I only let my son go one way so ex couldnt say that I was being uncooperative and blocking visitation, because he would jump at the chance to).
