Group input needed: HELP PLEASE! I am having a freak-out moment! Things between N and I are torturous as Im sure is the same with most of you. He is psychologically manipulating our 5 year old, abuses his wife in front of him, tells him that they dont like mummy, mummy is bad etc etc. We have an ICL (Independant Childs Lawyer) appointed. She is lovely but I dont think understands the depths of Ns personality dis-function and recklessness at all. Weve had an expert report which exposed his narc behaviour, anger problems, risk of manipulating child against mother. ICL is recommending to the court that we have family therapy (fine). The therapist she is recommending is a social worker with no other qualifications! Least qualified at his clinic! I was expecting a clinical psych! Anyone have good experiences with social workers seeing through Narc behaviour, gas lighting, manipulation a and lies?? He has a wife who he physically & verbally abuses yet she is his number one advocate against me and I suspect a narc herself. They can be so convincing and Im terrified. Sorry for the length. TIA.
