Group input needed: hi all wanted to tell you my recent story and let you all know it has been wonderful having this page in my life.... much needed help came from here.... was with my ex for 20 years, 10 years prior he volunteered for iraq and came home with ptsd for the last 10 years i have endured so much abuse mentally, verbally and physically, 5 years ago today my father passed away and it became the start of my battle to leave my abusive ex... we have 2 children now 19 & 14 and ive done everything in my power to protect them needless to say our 19 year old hasnt even spoke with him in 2 years... finally after going to court for 2 years straight and enduring his outrageous demands and motions i got everything i wanted in the divorce including living custody of our 14 yr old son... well yesterday my nut job of an ex actually broke into my home and my daughter called the police and he was arrested.... he made bail but a judge granted me a tro.... i will keep you posted when i go back to court on june 2 hopefully i can get a permanent restraining order to keep this crazy man out of my life... thank you all again and keep fighting the fight i know i have!!!!!!
