Growing in the understanding of the Word September 15 Many Pastors, Clergyman and individuals alike, take some ones word for what the Word of God says instead of searching the scriptures for themselves. They fail in this regard for lack of another explanation , by just being lazy . They do not do as God instructed . 2 Tim 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Hos 4:6My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Like wise you must have the Holy Ghost in you in order to rightly divide the Word of God. 1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. You see the Spirit Of God moved on Men to write the Bible, like wise the Spirit must be in you to rightfully discern them. Many not really knowing any better Go off and start their own religions, some times rewriting their own interpretations of Gods Word . By doing this they not only deceive themselves but all who will follow after them. This is what Gods Word says about this . Luke 6:39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? Many have creeds they say they go by and post them in their church bulletins, When the blind read them as they come into the congregation they are accepting that decree as their own. not rightly reading or dividing the Word of God for themselves . What shall we do then let the Blind lead the blind into sure death and the lake of fire ? In the early 70s there were more than 2000 religions in the world. There are many gods but only one true one . Ps 14:1To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that does good.. Jesus Spoke to Nicodemus John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Paul tells us why we need to be Baptized Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Now Peter tells us how to do what Jesus has said we must do ,both water and Spirit for Jesus gave him the knowledge of the Kingdom of God . Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Now this same Holy Spirit will teach you all things as you Study the Word of God . 1 John 2:27But the anointing which ye have received of him abides in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. Knowing this that the anointing comes from the infilling of the Holy Ghost . Let us Pray, Lord we come to you today, Father for the opening of our eyes that we may see clearly what you are telling us in your Word, to understand what is written and to discern the full scope of the Word, Lord we are but little babies only knowing a small part of the journey through this life from inception from birth, we are but foolish children , but for your grace none would enter the Kingdom, Lord the devils have fooled many into thinking they are nothing , therefore they think, o woe is me why am I here , being discouraged, they loose there way and even some elect to check out of life, O Lord what fools we were in the garden and even now, for it has been hidden from us that we will be higher than even the Angels of Heaven, Father help us to find our way to you in boldness for we are children of the Father of all things , yet satan has placed blinder on many that they do not know where they are , tear down those false things and open the eyes of the Saints that they may inherit the Kingdom with boldness knowing even satan is subject to them in Jesus name
